Each photograph is fabric printed on natural cotton canvas using 8 Colour Ink Jet printers. The cotton canvas is then steamed and washed. It is colour fast and also resistant to the "wet rub" test. Fire retarding treatment can be undertaken if required.
The image is stretched and wrapped round a solid wood frame. The frame is glued and stapled with angle brackets and mitre corners and is 40mm wide. A wall mounting bracket is included.
An individual canvas measures 50 x 60 cms and weighs about 2 kg.
Please remember that as fabric cannot reproduce exact photographic quality the canvas will appear slightly different from the Gallery images. However, the process comes remarkably close just giving the image a slightly textured appearance. An example of one of the Gallery photographs beside a cotton canvas is shown.
Each canvas is labelled on the reverse with its botanical name.
